Rhythms of Faith

“Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.”

When a dancer hears the rhythm of music she responds with rhythms that reflect what she hears. Like a dancer moving to the rhythm of music, our faith moves us to the rhythm of the truth. We come to know the truth of God and His word through hearing it. Romans 10:17 says, “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” When we hear the word of God we come to know Him, and through our faith in Jesus we can respond in a manner that will allow us to reflect His truth.

Faith is the response of our souls moving toward the truth of God! We hear the word and through faith believe in the truth of Jesus and this leads us to respond. If we respond through faith than our actions will be the authentic reflection of the very Character of God. In order for that reflection to be authentic we must accept the truth in obedient submission and this is how we become authentic Christians with authentic faith.

You see our Faith is meant to be active and through the rhythms of truth we are made in the reflection and image of God.

Let us all respond through faith and move through our lives in tandem with our creator, living as the reflection of truth and love!
