Living Hope

3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, 5 who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.
1 Peter 1:3-6

We live in a time where hope can be difficult to find! We are bombarded on a daily basis with situations and struggles that leave us feeling helpless and hopeless. Jesus explained this in John 16:33, 33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” Jesus is providing a comforting perspective and truth in order to fill us with Hope. We can live a life of expectancy, not helplessness. The promises that God has made clearly provide for us a Hope that is always available! This Hope is found through our faith in Jesus! This Living Hope is Jesus! The life He gives fills us with peace, joy, contentment, love and a that Hope that never dies. No matter what is going on around us, this Hope can never be taken away! If you are in need of Hope, I pray that you look to the one who provides so generously, look to Jesus! Grab a hold of this eternal living Hope and live it out Now!
