Ready…. Set…. Go!

Romans 10:14-15

14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

So whose feet are the delivers of this “Good News”? Jesus spoke to His disciples many times about going into the world to share and preach His Gospel. He Commissioned the Apostles, the first to witnesses His identity, to go make disciples throughout the world, baptizing, and teaching his good news (Matthew 28:19-20).
As a believer you too share this same commission. The question is are your feet ready to deliver the good news? In Acts 1:8, Jesus explains that His followers will be empowered through the Holy Spirit. We know that once we believe, the Holy Spirit comes to live within us and acts as our guide. We are then set on the right path, the path that allows us to know our great Savior and follow Him.

Like the Disciples, Jesus is calling out all believers to spread his Word. No matter where He sends us to shine His light and love you can rest assured. The One who sends us goes with us! We can have full confidence that through the Holy Spirit we are empowered to bear witness to His light and love!

We are Ready through our belief and faith in the one who calls on us! Jesus has put us in the right place and He has set us in the right direction. What are we waiting for then? Let’s Go! By the Grace of God we are now the feet that delivers the “Good News”!

Father, I pray that You remind all of Your children of Your Great Love! Ignite in us a desire to share Your light and love with the world, near and far! Be an ever present source of strength and comfort as we live out our faith boldly and visibly. Always for Your Glory! Amen
