Be You

“Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother’s womb. I thank you, High God—you’re breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration—what a creation! You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day.” – Psalm‬ ‭139:13-16‬ ‭MSG‬‬

Who we are is solely rooted in our creator and we come to know ourselves through our knowledge of Him. Searching for our identity can be a lifetime journey of trial and error. During this time we are labeled and identified by the world around us and this leads us in the wrong direction.

When we come to know the truth and our authentic selves we are then set free to live and be who God purposed us to be.

This is what we must teach our children! The world is trying to label and diminish who God created and we do have a responsibility to stand up for the unique, the different and the exceptional.

If we see each child the way God does than we see the gift of who they are. We must teach them the truth about God and lead them to live out their faith. Let us encourage them to be confident in who they are and free in Him!

“But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭18:16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

It is the greatest joy of my life to hear that my children are consistently living their lives in the ways of truth!”
‭‭3 John‬ ‭1:4‬ ‭TPT‬‬
