Sincere Love

 ^“Since by your obedience to the truth you have purified yourselves for a sincere love of the believers, [see that you] love one another from the heart [always unselfishly seeking the best for one another], “ 

 

 

 

Love is not a feeling and it is more than a choice. Love is an action that stems from the depths of our hearts. The Bible tells us in  Luke 6:45 “that out of the abundance of our heart the mouth speaks.”  In other words we will act on what is deep within our hearts. Feelings lie on the surface, while a choice requires thought and thoughts can mislead us, but Love is consistent, never changing and never selfish. Sincere Love can only come from the depths of ones heart and that must be rooted in Christ in order to be put into action. You see, God is love and it is only from Him that we too can truly and with sincerity love others. Seek Jesus and abide in Him and watch your heart change to a pure reflection of Sincere Love!
