Overflowing Blessings
8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
2 Corinthians 9:8
Are you an optimist or a pessimist? Do you see your glass half full or overflowing? What we think directs our course and inevitably is what we become. Scripture tells us in Romans 8:5-8 that we have two different mind sets; one by the flesh and the other by the Spirit. If we set our mind on our self, the flesh, then we will see fragility, failure and defeat. If we set our mind on the spirit, placing all our faith in the author and perfecter of that faith, then we have peace, comfort and strength (Hebrews 12:2) In order to see past our circumstances we must see who we trust in, Jesus! It is not about our circumstances at all. It is about trusting God to be with us. We read in Romans 8:28, that all things are worked out for good, for those who love God. The good that comes is always Him, in the form of peace, love, strength and power. All of these things help us endure, persevere and overcome all of our difficult circumstances. Do you see how He is overflowing your glass?
