What are you searching for?

Sometimes we look in all the wrong areas to find our comfort. We strive to attain tangible things in this world in hopes of being prosperous.

“Prosperous derives from the Latin word prosperus, meaning “doing well.” Great pronouns of this happy word include golden, well-heeled, flourishing, and thriving.”

When we look to the wrong things in our search for prosperity, we only find temporary joy, but when we look to the right things we truly thrive and this is where we live with everlasting joy. Knowing God and living our life in faith is true prosperity. This does not mean everything around us is perfect, nor does it mean we have everything we could ever want in this world. This is not a promise that we will not experience pain, heartache or loss, because in this world we will. This is about looking up, looking to the heavens, looking to God for a life of prosperity that extends beyond this world. This is living content in all things.This is the peace, joy and love of His presence. This is the hope in a future of everlasting life. This is the abundant life that begins the moment you believe in Jesus and is fully recognized in eternity!
