Echos of God

“It is the same with the word that I speak. It will not return to me empty. It will do what I want it to do. And it will cause the purpose that I sent it for to happen.”

An echo is the return or imitation of a sound back to the listener. In other words if you speak in a hollow cave you will hear the echo of your own words. To better understand the echos of God we first need to know what God is speaking.

God spoke creation into existence and with every sunrise and sunset we see the echos of His glorious creation. We can say the same for us, if we live in faith. God spoke promises of a savior long before He revealed His Son to the the world. Jesus was and is the echo of God’s word. In fact Jesus is the word!

Through our faith we come to see God’s character echoed through Jesus, and it is life giving truth we find in every word God speaks. In this revelation, and acceptance of truth, we become changed, new.

Our new lives are given through the faith in Jesus and with the help of the Holy Spirit we can live it out. When we live out our faith, we become the very echo of God’s word. This is more than a stagnant sound, this becomes a ripple of glorious sound that reaches the heavens and touches the world around us. This is a life of worship and praise!

To live an authentic life means we live as the echo of God through our faith in His Son, Jesus Christ! Live life out loud for all to hear!
